Request For Proposals

RFP opportunities with partner tribes and organizations

PAHA is pleased to share RFP posts from tribes, tribal organizations and housing programs from across Indian Country. Please send all relevant information, including the RFP title, open and close dates, a brief description and PDF or link, to Krystal Vallo at kvallo@acomahousing.org. PAHA reserves to right to RPFs at its own selection and will remove postings after its close date. Dependent on PAHA’s 48-hour review process, your RFP will post within three business days of receipt.

PAHA follows the HUD guidance on Indian and tribal preference for employment and contracting. Section 101(k) of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA), authorizes tribal preferences in employment and contracting when using Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) funds.

Indian Preference: IHBG regulations require tribes and TDHEs to comply with Section 7(b) of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act (U.S.C. 450e(b)) and, to the greatest extent feasible, give preference in the award of contracts for projects funded under the IHBG program to Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises. The law requires Indian preference in training and employment and in the award of contracts and subcontracts.
